Sweemo
Lucie "Sweemo" Plavcová (*1990, Prague) is a dancer who is engaged in creative, pedagogical, research and publishing activities in the field of hip-hop, club and street culture.
During her dance practice, she went through a wide range of techniques and has been intensively devoted to urban dance styles since 2007. She regularly travels abroad for training and passes on her experience to a new generation of Czech dancers. She represents the Czech Republic at international competitions and has already become the winner of many domestic and foreign battles. She is also a co-creator of the Prague club scene, organizer of dance events, dance editor and founder of the project called Build Ya Foundation, which aims to spread the history of dance and Hip Hop.
During her annual trips to New York, in 2015 she became a member of one of the first bboy crews in the world - the legendary The Bronx Boys/The Bronx Girls. In 2016, she founded PragueChild Klan – a dance crew made up of her bboy students.
Now she is also working on her project NYC Foundation, where she systematically passes on what she learned about the dance culture during her frequent trips to New York.
